On May 11-12 2016 took place in Bucharest the fourth meeting of the Trade Union Alliance of UniCredit at the Headquarters of UniCredit Bank.
The meeting was attended by representatives of Trade Unions in UniCredit from Italy, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Poland, Luxembourg and Romania. At the meeting participated the President of the European Works Council, Angelo di Cristo, the President of the Trade Union Federation of Insurance and Banks Romania, Constantin Paraschiv, and Oana Preda, representing the HR Department of UniCredit Bank Romania.
Claudia Saller, Policy Officer at UNI Europa, honored the meeting with her presence .
The main topics discussed were, on one hand, how to reduce the commercial pressures on UniCredit front office employees, and, on the other hand, the impact of the digitalization on the activity of UniCredit employees, in general, and of UBIS employees, in particular.
During the meeting the Committee of the Alliance was elected . It is composed by one representative of each Trade Union of T.U.A, the Coordinator of the Committee, Giuseppina Cucinotta, from Italy and two deputy coordinators, Ciprian Iliescu , from Rumenia and a union representative from Germany, who will be appointed in a while.
T.U.A decided also to create a working group composed by Francesco Colasuonno – Italy and Daniel Ivanica – Romania that has the aim to develop a communication project (forum, website, facebook) for the Trade Union Alliance of Unicredit, in order to promote the principles, the actions, the decisions and also to facilitate the exchange of information and best practices within the Alliance.
At the end of the meeting the Coordinator declared that Solidarity among workers is the basis of any action of T.U.A in UniCredit Group as a pillar that must not fail.
